Hello, I'm Tyler Rotman!

I am excited to be transitioning careers after having crafted multiple front and back-end applications as part of General Assembly’s immersive software engineering program! Having worked in private education, hospitality, and as a leader for camping tours across North America, I have benefitted from breaking down large problems into smaller, manageable steps, communicating effectively, and paying close attention to technical and interpersonal details.

I am inspired by the unique combination of creativity, logic, and teamwork that software engineering provides, and look forward to continuing the path of learning. When not programming, you can find me playing piano, attempting to cook plantains, and hoping that one of these daily spam calls is actually Jeopardy calling to say that I made it onto the show.
